Dastangoi Musical

Syed Sahil Agha , an Indian storyteller. He specialized in a type of oral storytelling known as DastanGoi. His writing varies from biographical accounts of personalities. His book Dastan-e-Hind, It is a Bunch of dastan’s and Indian folklores, has been performed successfully by the various artists around the Globe. He discovered the old art form “QissaKhawani“ and did the revival of it by naming it as “QissaGoi”. He also scripted and written the dialogues of Ghalib Umrao Begum which was even telecasted on D.D Urdu. He also organised a series of India’s biggest Oral Storytelling shows with Vestige marketing which was a big success.

Kabuki Khanna, A lyric soprano, renowned opera singer in India, She has remained a topper(distinction holder throughout) in the field of Opera in Trinity College of Music, London. She has been performing almost all over the world and has worked and shared stage with renowned artists in the Opera world’ such as Richard Strokes, Marco Balderi, Jasmin Martorell, Robert Alderson, Francoise Lasserre, Philippe Engel , Maria Curti etc. Apart from her performances, she has been working as a Voice Coach in the only prime institute of India known for western classical training “DELHI SCHOOL OF MUSIC “ from past 5 years . And also she worked as a Voice Coach (Voice Pedagogy) in “NATIONAL SCHOOL OF DRAMA, Delhi.

Bharatnatyam Recital

Arupa Lahiry, is a Bharatnatyam dancer from Kolkata, whose search for excellence in her art took her to the legendary dancer-guru Smt. Chitra Visweswaran in Chidambaram Academy of Performing Arts, Chennai. A Senior Scholarship from the Department of Culture, Government of India further enabled her to do so. A soloist of reckon, she has gone on to prove her mettle in conducting workshops and performing at major festivals and sabhas, nationally and internationallywhich include names like Musee Guimet, Centre Mandapa, Opera de Lille, France; Living Arts Centre, Toronto; Temple of Fine Arts & ICCR, Malaysia, Khajuraho Mahotsav and Soorya Festival, India etc. Arupa has recently completed a successful tour of the UAE countries under the aegis of Soorya. She is part of the young artist list of SPICMACAY, a Graded (Bharatnatyam) artist of Delhi Doordarshan, empanelled with ICCR and recipient of “Sringar Mani” title from Mumbai.She is awarded Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India to work on changing dimensions in Bharatanatyam.
